This climb happens once a year in Iran and each year one province is playing a host to the other mountain weblog writers from other provinces. This time it was done in Hamedan on the Mount Yakhchal( 3580 m) on the 27th and 28th of June 2011( 9th and 10th of Tir 1390). There were more than 120 climbers from all around the country with different accents and cultures which this variety made lots of fun through the climb. From the guys from Isfahan who promised to bring his souvenir from his city ( according to him gaz with 100 percent pistachio inside) and he brought it and in a funny way he said bringing this caused three people heart attack and the other guys from Azerbaijan as well who brought Baklava. Before that most of these people just saw or read about each others on the net on each weblogs and mostly everybody was eager to see others face to face. The mountain climbers enrolled were mostly young people and a teenage girl who was the youngest , was distinguished among others and got a prize. There was a gathering in a big salon of Hamedan in the beginning of the program which shows the program had been officially started. After lots of ups and downs of different ideas of having an executive for the next climb of the mountain weblog writers, people voted and an executive was chosen. After lunch, people gathered and with a bus went to the foot of the route which was a valley named Morad Beig Valley. The weather was so hot. In the first one hour and a half the route was under the shade of the trees and still in the village. But after that part, the hot really drew the energies of people away. But something particular about this area is the variety of springs and being really rich in water sources which one can see the results clearly in the green everywhere in spite of the dry and hot weather. In the beginning the route was not that much steep but gradually the slope became steep and steep. The most steepest part was almost one hour before the Yakhshal shelter in which we spent the night. They called this steep area roundabout or thousand rounds. At last the group reached the Yakhchal shelter. Many of the mountain climbers went inside and others put up a tent and spent the night inside their tents. It was a cold and windy night which one had to be careful for her/his tent not to be taken away by the strong wind. In the morning the climb to the peak continued. After almost one hour and a half everybody was on the peak, took photos, made fun, remembered other online mountain friends who were not present at that moment and at the end sang the national anthem of Iran. After spending almost one hour on the peak descending started. After reaching the Yakhchal shelter, mountain climbers changed the return route to the other side of the mountain and after almost one hour reached a vast area called Takhte Rostam. Here everybody had an introduction of herself/himself and their weblogs and some with useful comments on this climb and next climb. In this area there was a spring with a soft and tasty water and its cold drew away tiresome. After having lunch in Takhte Rostam people started to descend. It takes almost four hours to reach Siilvar village which the beginning point of it was Morad Beig Valley which I mentioned before. From the starting point the route was all the way towards south. From the pharmaceutics plants in this area one can mention the various kinds of milk vetch, wild rose, bee balm, thyme, nettle, yarrow, and many other kinds. Something else which added more beauty to this region were the wild flocks of horses. From the other mammals one can mention goat, fox, rabbit, jackal, and wild pig. The last thing I do really like to mention is the variety of sparrows in this area beside pigeon, eagle, and fanner from the group of birds.
